Standard Budget Decklist: Kangaskhan-GX and Parasect

Confusion is one of the most frustrating status conditions to deal with, but it’s hilarious when it works out in your favor. Kangaskhan-GX fully utilizes “confusion” cards like Parasect, Koga’s Trap, and Ear-Ringing Bell.

For one energy, Kangaskhan-GX does 30 damages and confuses your opponent’s active Pokemon. For three energies, Kangaskhan-GX does 160 damage for confused enemies.

With Parasect’s ability, 2 damage counters are put on your opponent’s Confused Pokemon between turns — and that stacks for each Parasect on your side of the field (up to 8 damage counters between turns).

You shouldn’t have any trouble confusing your opponents Pokemon with card likes Koga’s Trap and Ear-Ringing Bell.

Kangaskhan-GX doesn’t have a lot of health, but if it can survive a hit with Ear-Ringing Bell attached, you’ll be able to hit back harder.

And fortunately, Kangaskhan-GX can utilize the ridiculously broken Welder card, which pairs nicely with Energy Spinner and Giant Hearth.
